ASIAN COUNTRY MUSIC

故郷 meets the open road

A genre, a movement, a stage. We're building the home for Asian and Asian American artists writing and singing country music — twang, heritage, and heart, together.

The Genre

What Is Asian Country Music?

Definition Asian Country Music

ACM, noun.

The genre and cultural movement uplifting Asian and Asian American artists who write, sing, and perform country music — traditional twang, modern country-pop, and everything between — while bringing their own heritage, stories, and sound into country music's biggest tent. It's not a novelty act. It's a lane that's always existed and never had a name until now.

Our Mission

Why We're Here

To help encourage Asian Country artists — giving them a stage, a spotlight, and a community that believes their sound belongs in country music.

The Case For It

Why Promote Asians In Country Music

Representation isn't just the right thing to do — it's good for the genre, good for artists, and good for business.

01

Representation Matters

Young Asian artists finally see themselves on a country stage — and that's often the difference between picking up a guitar or never trying.

02

Fresh Sound, Same Roots

New instrumentation, phrasing, and storytelling perspectives keep country music's core themes — land, family, hard work — feeling alive.

03

An Untapped Audience

A fast-growing Asian American population plus a massive country fanbase means real, unclaimed crossover audience for labels and venues.

04

Shared Values, Different Voices

Family, honor, resilience, and home — themes at the heart of country music — translate naturally across Asian cultures and languages.

05

Breaks A Tired Assumption

Country music has never belonged to one culture. Every artist who steps up challenges the idea that it should.

06

A Real Talent Pipeline

Decades of karaoke culture across Asian communities have built strong vocalists — a ready-made pipeline of performers who just need a genre and a stage.
